This old photo album is from our travel to Mangalore in November 2005. Yes, these are old photos… so everyone (?) of us looked different!

Mangalore, the administrative headquarters of the Dakshin Kannada district in Karnataka, is a major port in the Arabian sea. It is major port city of Karnataka having Arabian Sea on its west and Western Ghats on its east. The sea shore of Mangalore boasts of having beautiful beaches and the scenic land is dominated by the distinctive coconut palms in the backdrop of rolling hills and majestic streams flowing towards the Arabian sea. It boasts of number of beaches – Panambur Beach, Someshwara Beach, Ullal Beach, Bhatkal Beach, Murdeshwar Beach, Surathkal Beach, Kaup Beach, Malpe Beach. Apart from tthat one can travel to nearby Dharmasthala, Karkala, etc.
